Hello Sunshine

I thought I would play along with Simon Says Wednesday challenge this week...anything goes and American Crafts!

A couple of weeks ago I had the best day scrapping and laughing with my BFFs. Here is a layout I completed between the laughs and drinks! It's Granville Island, BC.

Thanks Dee for the Chic Tags wood veneer...I used the sun here!! And of course I had to buy those little Chic Tags wood veneer sequins!

Crazy Card Party-- Red and White for Canada Day

Welcome to another Crazy Card Party challenge. This week, in anticipation of Canada Day coming up, Rosanne has challenged us to use Red and White. My brother's birthday is on July 1st and growing up we always had a Canada Day theme to his birthday. So I made him a red and white birthday card with a design that sort of looks like fireworks.

Crazy Card Party--Gold Doily

Earlier this spring, Party-Er Patricia hosted a tea party extravaganza to celebrate the launch of Crazy Card Party. Wow did she ever go all out! We were treated to fancy china, fresh flowers, wonderful teas to sample and delicious sweet and savoury treats. The miniature desserts came on little gold doilies. So this week, Regs is challenging us to use that doily in a creative way!

Here's my take...an anniversary card for my parents...

Crazy Card Party--FLAIR!

This week on Crazy Card Party, Dee is asking us to show some FLAIR! 

Well, sometimes I am kinda slow on the uptake with new trends and products. It was only last summer that I learned what the heck "flair" was though I already had some in my stash. My girl Regs to the rescue by quoting some "Office Space" a la Jennifer Aniston and I was all clear! Now of course I have a small (ahem) addiction to said FLAIR!

I am hard pressed to do a layout without a few pieces of flair. I have never put flair on a  card though. God knows I have enough of it to spread the love around. But I thought I would post a layout with FLAIR...

This is from our trip to BC two years ago. We stopped by a few wineries on our way between Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Good times!

I thought I would play along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge this week...stencils. I  love my overflowing drawer of stencils! Getting them back in the drawer is the problem LOL!

I think this is my fav photo of my hubby.  I took this in BC two years ago at the Chilliwack River. I stencilled the arrow and the speech bubble with texture paste.

Crazy Card Party--One Layer!

This week at Crazy Card Party Patricia is asking us to create one layer cards. Well! Who would have thought this would cause such high emotions among the Party-Ers? I am not sure Av has recovered yet. 

So in honour of the much debated one layer card I created a Mother's Day card. Look closely...even my sequins are stamped!
