Crazy Card Party-- Glitter!

Kathryn is up this week with her first Crazy Card Party challenge and in honour of her new blog, she has asked for glitter!

 I added a strip of glitter at the bottom of my card using double sided tape.

Stop and Smell the Roses...

...well I would if my garden wasn't covered in three feet of snow!! Enough already!

At least I could two summers ago in BC when we stopped at a few wineries...here's another layout I did last Saturday with the best crafty ladies around...

I finally cracked into my Studio Calico "Abroad" line that I had been hoarding!

Sweet Views Chilliwack

Last weekend I cropped with the most amazing group of ladies. I hadn't work on layouts in SOOO long. It felt great to get back to it.

Here is a layout from our trip to BC two summers ago...

The papers are all Jillibean plus a Jillibean ephemera pack. And I did some stitching using a cool Amy Tam set my friend Patricia gave me! And some of the sequins are from my friend Regs.

Crazy Card Party Spring Colours!

This week at Crazy Card Party Rosanne is calling for some spring colours to help nudge winter along already!  Wouldn't it be nice to think that soon the spring flowers will be blooming?

So in that spirit I created a card full of springy-coloured flowers. I heat embossed the silver sentiment too.

Crazy Card Party-- Get Krafty!

Regs is up this week over at Crazy Card Party and she's inspiring all her friends to "get krafty" which is what our challenge blog is all about! We all know how much Regs loves kraft. I often forget to use it...so thanks for the inspiration this week! 

Here's my card...I thought this gorgeous set of washi I recently bought from Omiyage went perfectly with a kraft base.

Let it Snow!

I don't actually want any more snow! Enough already! But that is the sentiment on my card...so there you go.

This week over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Blog there is a very cool mood board to inspire us...

Here is my take...

The jar and the snowflakes really inspired me.

Now maybe this will be some sort of reverse psychology and the snow will stop!
