I cracked into my new WPlus9 triangles stamp set and did a background with different shades of orange/yellow for this anniversary card.

Crazy Card Party--Water Colour!

This week on Crazy Card Party, Kathryn is asking to see water colour! I have been playing around with water colours this summer and have been having lots of fun.

Crazy Card Party-- Kraft and White

This week at Crazy Card Party, Rosanne is asking for Kraft and White. Love that combo!

I made this card for a friend's birthday. I embossed the wreath in white then topped it with the matching die cut out of layers of vellum. White enamel dots  finished it off. My sentiment is in black...I hope that is OK!

Happy Anniversary

I realised I needed an anniversary card to send to my cousin. So I created this card this morning! It was a great excuse to try out my new Mama Elephant and Simon Says Stamp sets!

Crazy Card Party Challenge--Paste!

No not pasties! But we did consider that for a moment! This week at Crazy Card Party, Dee is challenging us to use paste. I love paste and use it all the time.

I tinted my paste light blue with my new Hero Arts ink and made a sort of trellis background with a stencil. Fun stuff!

Crazy Card Party Challenge-- Shaker Cards

This week on Crazy Card Party, Patricia is asking us to shake it up with a shaker card.  I made my first shaker card back in the spring for my mom. As you can see here, I put too many sequins in and they kept getting stuck!

So I tried a new technique this time and it worked better. But I won't lie...my first attempt at this card ended up in the garbage...my confetti got stuck again...this time on the glue because I didn't wait long enough for it to dry when assembling the shaker part. Gong!!

This time I used a few pink sequins plus some flat confetti...silver hearts and silver wedding bells since it is a wedding card for our friends getting married this month.
