It was my dad's birthday last week. So I made him a card...

Last week I made a thank you card for a special friend who is always doing nice things for me. It was a great excuse to use some stamps that hadn't seen ink yet!

The orange and kraft (with a pop of teal) seemed to fit right into this season so I linked up with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge...Halloween Colours.

No Peeking!

My friend Dee inspired me to play along with the PTI blog hop this month. I had honestly forgotten all about it, but then I saw her blog post AND then yesterday I walked home in a raging BLIZZARD so it kind of got me into the Christmas tag making spirit.

Here is the tag I made using all kinds of PTI products, Kraft cs, tag die, and stamps from my Winterberry set and Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers. I heat embossed the elements...they look very nice IRL. I love the way PTI cardstock can handle the heat embossing.

And then I made a few more...

I have the "to and from" on the back. I think I will give this set to my mom. She loves wrapping her presents so nicely.

Memories of BC

I have been dying to start scrapping our pictures of our British Columbia trip last summer. My BFFs and I bought and shared some very fun AC papers and embellies a few weeks ago in Buffalo so I couldn`t resist diving in when I had some time to scrap this past weekend on a girls` weekend.

The best routes...

I saw that this week Jan over at LRW  issued a challenge for fences. I made this card for my friend Tina's upcoming birthday...perfect for this challenge!

Tina has recently made a huge career shift so I thought this sentiment from my PTI "Pedal Pusher" set was perfect. Inside it says "I hope this is your best year yet." I just love that sentiment.

I also linked up with the Wednesday Simon Says Stamp challenge..."Going Dotty" for my polka dot grass!
