Crazy Card Party-- Use Scraps

This week at Crazy Card Party, Rosanne is asking us to use scraps. I dug around in my PTI patterned paper scrap folder and decided on a combo of classic kraft, hawaiian shores and summer sunrise. I stamped some Rosie Posey florals with the same colours.

Crazy Card Party-- Gold Dipped

This week at Crazy Card Party, Regs is asking to see something "gold dipped." I love it! She is always on trend. I poked around Pinterest for a while first and saw lots of pretty gold dipped jewellery I'd love to have!    

Here's what I made...

I "dipped" the ends of some WPlus9 feathers in gold (ie. embossed them). I love the aqua mist and gold together. I layered on a sentiment die cut and a strip of Crate on the side. Love it!

Crazy Card Party-- Watercolour

This week at Crazy Card Party, Dee is asking to see watercolour.    Well that's my favourite kind of thing to do!

I never get tired of watercolouring in floral images. Fun!

Crazy Card Party-- Birthday!

This week at Crazy Card Party, Patricia is asking to see birthday cards.  Well it is always good to have lots of those on hand!

This might look like a Christmas card but actually it is a birthday card I made for a friend who has a winter birthday Christmas.

 

It is kind of sucky photography, but the cs is sweet blush and the embossing paste looks sparkly white in real life.  I loved finding a way to use that gorgeous Tim Holtz stencil for something other than Christmas.
