Papertrey August Blog Hop Challenge

I haven't posted much lately but I thought it would be fun to try this month's PTI blog hop challenge. 

Here's the inspiration photo...

I decided to play around with my new What the Doodle feather set. I stamped it in Memento and then coloured it with Staedtler watercolour pencils. The lighter peach looks more pinky in real life. It turned out looking sort of "Southwest" which is kind of cool. I matted it on a Summer Sunrise card base and added some sequins.

I can't wait to see all the inspiration along the hop!

Crazy Card Party-- Travel!!

This week at Crazy Card Party, our resident "cruise director" Kathryn set a travel theme! Well you don't have to ask me twice to post travel layouts!


Here's us in the arctic in Norway. Such an amazing day.
 

     

  And here's a pocket page from the same day...taking a ferry across the fjord to our lodge. Man it was cold but stunning views and amazing experience!

This week at Crazy Card Party, Rosanne has set a birthday theme! Gee, I wonder why LOL! 

  

I borrowed this PTI anniversary set from Rosanne at the Crop and Create crop. Such a pretty set and I love the fonts in the sentiments.
