I decided to play along with Simon's Wednesday challenge this week...use more than one die. I usually keep my cards pretty CAS but I do like to use dies.
I made this card for a friend who recently rebranded her business with a pineapple logo. I figured Hero Art's pineapple set would be great! I love how nicely the layers worked on the pineapple. I heat embossed the final layers for some sparkle! I used several dies: for the pineapple, scribbled circle, stitched square and the word sentiment.
I just love how it turned out!
Thanks for stopping by!

Crazy Card Party-- Pocket Page
This week at Crazy Card Party, I am up and I want to see pocket pages! I have been trying to incorporate pocket pages into my scrapbooking albums lately. I find them very challenging! I think I just need more practice.
Here is one I did recently featuring one of the pretty castles we visited in Sweden in 2013.
Pretty basic, but I like the balance and coordinating colours. And acetate photo overlays are so much fun.
I can't wait to see what pocket pages the other Party-Ers post this week for inspiration!

Crazy Card Party-- use buttons
This week at Crazy Card Party, Kathryn is asking to see buttons. I never use buttons on cards or layouts. I am not sure why. I certainly have a big collection of pretty buttons.
Here is a baby card I recently made. It is the "boy" version of the pink one I posted last month.
Turned out cute! I guess I need to try to use buttons more often.
I can't wait to see what the other Party-Ers create this week!
