Glenelg
Well, the Simon Says Stamp challenge issued yesterday is for Travel/Cityscapes! If that doesn't have my name written all over it, I don't know what does! Perfect to get me back into posting more often. So I decided to link up this layout of our trip to Glenelg, just outside Adelaide.
Here's a few close ups...
I used a new-ish stencil with some texture effect plus some mists.
Thanks for checking it out!

So worst blogger ever is back with another post in the same week!
Simon Says Stamp and Show is having a challenge this week for background stamps! I love using my PTI barnyard chicken wire stamp on my layout backgrounds, especially over top of a hexie stencil and gesso.
This is a layout of our day trip to Boston two summers ago. Lots of fun!
Here you can see some close ups of the background...
Thanks for stopping by!

WORST BLOGGER EVER......
I need to rename my blog to that title!!! It has been an insane few weeks. I thought I had better post something soon!
The Simon Says Stamp challenge this week is for flowers! I thought I would link up this layout.
I love the soft flowers on the MME background paper and I made this flower out of layers of different burlap.

Forever Family
Today I made a card for a dear friend. Her adoption of a special little boy has just become official!
I thought it was perfect for the Moxie Fab World Emphasize the Negative challenge and the Passion for Papertrey negative die cut challenge.
Congrats Kristi!!! We are so thrilled for you and Dominic.

So Lucky
Thought I'd do another post while I had a chance and play along with Simon Says Stamp and Show Water Challenge.
This layout shows the ocean front at Glenelg near Adelaide. I used some mists and diluted paint for some colour on top of the texture effect stars.
Pretty crummy shot of the layout...sorry! Bad lighting today.
Here are some better detail shots...
Thanks for stopping by!

Chevrons!
I have been a horrible blogger lately! It must be that time of year.
I decided to play along with Moxie Fab World's Chevron challenge. I adore chevrons and can't get enough of them.

Published...again!
I know I haven't posted anything in ages. Grrrrrrr....too much work!
But here's a special layout I have been dying to share. It's in this month's Canadian Scrapbooker magazine!
A very special layout of our trip to visit my dear friend Charlotte in Australia.
I created the clouds with Martha's texture effect. Really cool! Plus a fussy cut banner.
I embossed more clouds into this vellum and made journalling with my Dymo label maker.
I rolled some flowers out of canvas, and hand folded some chevrons.
Thanks for stopping by!
