Hello

I was really hoping I would get a chance to play along with Rosanne's "crimp my style" challenge over at LRW. I have two crimpers so I really wanted to do this challenge. I ran my PTI die cut polaroid frame through my crimper.

Just today I got my most recent Simon Says Stamp order in the mail and had to rip it open and immediately start using all my new product! The Lawn Fawn speech bubble stamp and the MME paper are brand new. So I thought I would also link up with the Simon Says Stamp "anything goes" challenge.

We have a friend going through chemo and I wanted to make her a card to let her know we are thinking of her.  On the inside I used one of my favourite stamps: "sending you sunshine" by Your Next Stamp.

I made this card for my hubby's birthday. I couldn't wait to use a new stamp from Hero Arts. The sentiment suits him perfectly too!

Boston Bruins

My hubby is a huge Boston Bruins fan and Bobby Orr was his childhood idol. So when we went to Boston a few years ago, our first stop was their home arena and the famous Orr statue. 

I thought this layout was a great fit for the Simon Says Stamp and Show "colour" challenge this week.

Day Trip To Boston

I thought I would post another layout for the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge this week for background stamps. 

I used the same technique with my PTI chicken wire stamp in black over a white hexagon stencil effect with gesso. And I had so much fun making this layout with a 6x6 Basic Grey travel theme pad! 

This layout is also from our day trip, air miles run, to Boston. So strange now looking at these photos after the events of Boston last week. The restaurant where we ate dinner is right on the marathon finish line. Very eerie.
