Let it Snow

This week at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge...anything goes. They are also featuring Lawn Fawn. Well I just can't get enough of my LF "Winter in the Park" stamp set, as you can see! I promise this is the last card I will post featuring this adorable bench and street lamp.

I watercoloured the background with distress inks and then added a wash of iridescent watercolour and then stencilled some snowflakes with my new Memory Box stencil. The sentiment is from Avery Elle-- it goes perfectly!

Papertrey November Blog Hop

I thought I would link up one more card for the Papertrey blog hop, since the theme this month is one of my favourite Christmas card themes...SNOW!

I played around with one of my favourite PTI sets, Pedal Pusher, and created a festive and snowy scene...

 

I embossed the snow on the background and added some glitter paper at the bottom for a "snowy" ride.

Papertrey November Blog Hop Challenge

I think snowflakes are my favourite theme for my Christmas cards. This year I have been having fun playing with my Snowflake Medley set. The Papertrey blog hop this month is featuring all things "snow" so I had to play. I just loved this inspiration photo...

Here's my take on it...I heat embossed some of the flakes in iridescent embossing powder and then rubbed on some distress inks. The sentiment from Snowflake Flurries is perfect.
