Pastels-- I'm here if you need me

I haven't played along with many challenges lately. When I saw the Simon Says Monday challenge for pastels, I knew it was for me!

I embossed some white poppies and watercoloured them in pastels. Love it!

Crazy Card Party--Stripes!

This week at Crazy Card Party Patricia is asking to see STRIPES! I was excited to do this one. 

I die cut a banner out of some silver striped Stampin' Up vellum. My fellow Party-Er Regs made this silver paste that I used on the hearts. I am just loving the look of silver and Aqua Mist these days. And I had seam binding that matched perfectly.

I can't wait to see all the stripes used by the other Party-Ers this week!

Crazy Card Party-- Something Warm!

This week at Crazy Card Party, Av is challenging us to create something warm...think coffee, tea, sunshine etc. I have been on a tea kick lately but I put a bit of a twist on the challenge...

I put some water colour flowers in a tea cup! And nothing says warmth like a "hugs" sentiment. 


And I needed to keep practicing those water colour flowers so I made this little tag too.

I can't wait to see what kind of "warmth" the other Party-Ers are cooking up this week.

Crazy Card Party-- Favourite Die

This week at Crazy Card Party, it is my turn to issue the challenge. I was inspired by Patricia's recent "favourite stamp" challenge to change it into "favourite die." You know, that go-to die that you love using? For me it is my PTI Fabulous Frames polaroid frame die. I reach for it all the time and it cuts so nicely.

Crazy Card Party-- St. Patrick's Day

This week at Crazy Card Party, Kathryn is asking us to get our Irish on with something green in honour of St. Patrick's Day coming up.

Ironically, my Irish friend has embarked on a big adventure in the next chapter of her life, so I made her this good luck card! Seems appropriate.

Crazy Card Party-- Case a CCP card!

This week at Crazy Card Party, Regs has set a very cool challenge...case a fellow Party-Er! This was hard but a great excuse to cruise through everyone's blog over the last while.

I was inspired by one of Regan's cards from October...I loved the dotty background and the watercoloured flower.
