Sending you Sunshine

My cousin in Vancouver is going through radiation right now and she is on my mind. I decided to make her another card, sending some love and sunshine her way.

I decided to play along with Tammy's challenge over at LRW in making my own background. I used my new Tim Holtz brick patterned embossing folder. Then I sanded, distressed and inked it. Then I thought it was screaming for some vines and flowers growing on the brick. Gave me a chance to used some neglected Spellbinders dies. I also made some flowers by misting and scrunching some die cuts. A Your Next Stamp sentiment, PTI twine and Dee's seam binding finished it off.

Love you Shel and thinking of you!
