It was my mom's birthday last week so I made her a set of all occasion cards. It was a great excuse to play with my Tim Holtz distress inks and markers. Here's one of the cards in her set.

Special Occasion Flip Calendar

I have been a bad blogger lately! But today I thought I would post something I made a while back...a flip calendar for the special birthdays and anniversaries I try to keep track of.

These photos of a few of the pages are not very good but you get the idea. The white plastic frame is from Ikea and I made pages for each month with a small photo of one or more people who celebrate birthdays or anniversaries that month. 

A sequin here and there...I kept it pretty simple. 

 

So now this little frame sits on my desk so I can remember the important days of all the special people in my life! I also linked up with Simon Says Wednesday Challenge...Anything Goes!

Wish Big

I took some time to play around in my craft room last night. I came up with this card...

I heat embossed a bunch of elements for some added zing! I love that Paper Smooches sentiment.

Celebrate

It is my friend Tina's wedding anniversary coming up so I made her this card...

I got to play with some stamps that hadn't seen much ink yet...my WPlus9 ikat set and my MFT wildflowers set. I also heat embossed the flowers...very cool looking IRL.
