I decided to play along with Simon Says "Anything Goes" challenge one more time this week. I have been playing around with WPlus9's Fresh Cut Florals (borrowed from my friend Regs). I could just play with that set all day long!!

This week at Crazy Card Party, Kathryn has given us this beautiful pillow image for inspiration.
I'd love to have this on my couch! I decided to pull out some similar inks and stamp some triangles. I made the card square to also follow the pillow...just like I ended up doing for Regan's inspiration photo a few weeks agoLOL!
I can't wait to see what the other Party-Ers create this week!
I have been having such fun playing with my new MISTI. I am stunned at how cool things can turn out. I'd never be able to line stuff up this perfectly. Here's my first attempt with my new Hero Arts layered bird set. In real life the bird actually looks hand painted.
I perched the bird on a branch with little pink blossoms. They remind me of the apple blossoms that will soon be out. I linked up with Simon Says challenge this week...flowers. thanks for stopping by! cs~ Neenah, PTI stamps~ Hero Arts, WPlus9 inks~ Altenew, Memento, PTI
I thought I would post one of the mother's day cards I made. My MISTI has made me love stamping and ink again, especially for multi step images. Here's what I did with my new Hero Arts hibiscus set...
This week at Crazy Card Party, Regan gave us this gorgeous inspiration.
How stunning is that bedroom?? But I will admit that I would NEVER in a million years choose these colours to make a card. But I was SO happy with the results. That's why I Iove these challenges...gets you out of your comfort zone. And we all know Regs is very good at that lol!
So I figured it made sense that I should use Regan's stamp set too (☺). I pulled out all my neutral inks and had fun. And I almost never use patterned paper on cards either but I love how this matches the carpet in the inspiration photo. And my card ended up square...like the pillow!
I can't wait to see what the other Party-Ers create this week!

Welcome to my special place for sharing all the good things in life: travel, recipes, favourite books, and of course scrapbooking! This blog is inspired by a twist on one of my favourite sayings. The 16th century proverb goes something like "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear." Well I certainly think you can. Whether it is turning travel glitches into new adventures, creating a gourmet meal out of an empty fridge, and of course transforming bits of paper, ribbon and glue into scrapbooking masterpieces.
