I decided to play along with LRW this week. Dee asked us to use at least three flowers.
I made this card for my dear friend Avril who has been under the weather. It is really a combo get well and thank you card since Avril was there for me in my hour of dire need a few weeks ago at Scrapfest. I know you know how absolutely grateful I am Av, but here it is in paper and twine! I broke into one of the 6x6 MME pads we bought. (Avril you even make standing in endless lineups fun!) Plus I misted and layered 3 of the Maya Road mistable canvas flowers Avril and I bought and split. Some PTI twine, a Basic Grey button and of course a cute House Mouse image finished it off.
I am also eternally grateful to Jen, Terri and Regan who also came to my rescue, talking to me while I was in shock and giving me what I desperately needed: kind words, hugs and knowing people cared!
Avril I hope you feel better soon! This little token of my friendship is coming to you by snail mail!
Thanks Dee for another fun challenge.

Now I'm wondering what happened at Scrapfest......whatever it was I hope everything is a-okay now.
Such a cute card. I love how you did the sentiment.
Sharon, beautiful card.. Avril will appreciate this card. You are a true friend!
Thanks Jan. Bad fall. I'll never be "like God made me" as my oral surgeon says. But I am keeping my chin up. Thanks for your message!
That is a sweet stamp, beautifully done and I love your flowers. I'm sure she'll appreciate it and I hope you've recovered from your mishap!
Cant wait to see it in person! Thanks so much! Love how the misted flowers turned out... still struggling away with this cold... I am hoping it is on its last legs! I dont even have much mojo for scrapping!
Gosh Sharon, that's terrible! Obviously Scrapfest wasn't very fun for you. Wishing you a swift recovery.
Cute card with so much caring and kindness in it from your heart, I can see!
Well Sharon not sure what happened but seems to have involved a bad fall somehow on your face/mouth? Hope you are recovering and there was not too much unrepairable damages... like you said: keep your chin up. Wishing you well!
Amazing!
I love your page! Such fabulous details.
The card is adorable. I am sure it will cheer up your friend.
